Cleminson/caltempo/Europa/Freeman-Leidy/Yerbysmith
|
I am looking for Cleminson dinnerware and most other items. Most of the plates/bowls have a raised scalloped edge so its easy to pick out of a stack. It looks like Blue Ridge. They did fruit, daisies, wood violets, hibiscus, the others are regular edged and have a Penn dutch flower and leaf design.Freeman-Leidy and Yerbysmith, both of Laguna Beach use lots of gold and applied flowers and fruit. They can look like Cordey or like Capodimonte.Y uses irridescent glazes blended together with piercings and scrafitto. The mark is hard to read, but they also use an asian type symbol with a date.Europa looks like swedish mid-cent with a blue gray mottled clay and intense blues in abstract swirling patterns with some yellow with a matte texture. They can have a name mixed in with the pattern.Caltempo is a mottled gray clay with either a pink fish scale (called fish fin)in stylized fish shapes; or can be abstract. They are matte finished.
